National House Builders

Completion of large public open space in Huntingdon including small lake, a play area and wild flower drifts with indigenous hedging and heavy standards.

Granta Park - Cambridge

Main landscape contractor for maintenance of Phase 1 and 2 along with many other projects within this large science park including extending the sports area and adding and improving Phase 2 where we recently planted hundreds of semi mature trees recently upgrading security fencing to new entrances.

National Developers

Including soft landscaping for an extensive residential building in Bury St Edmunds

For another national developer who's relationship with us goes back nearly 20 years, we have just completed Luton University Village Campus which included instant wild flower meadow supplied by Q lawns which was the first time we had used this new planting material - see our blog for more details. There are also new projects starting in Cambridge and Wisbech for other branches of this group.

We have also just completed a high spec project for another leading developer who has used us for the last 15 years - this project involved soft landscaping and very high spec heavy tree planting in hard landscaping using over 100 tons of Amsterdam tree soil. This project included school and community areas.

Conservation Work

An extensive conservation project involving installing over 2kms of horse fencing to contain areas on a wetland area in Essex.

Ecological ongoing improvement connected with Cambs Council including tree surgery and scrub improvements around transport systems.

Other Work

We often supply extensive tree reports to facilitate these types of work and have a fully qualified in-house tree surgeon.

We have also recently completed a hard and soft landscaping project at the Hampton Hargate Primary School in Peterborough.

Private Sector

Our domestic and private sector has been very busy over the last few months with many projects for well known landscape architects - projects include an estate in Norfolk for a landscape architect which involved us project managing the site which was the installation of a formal Italianate garden.

Another Nofolk project involved regenerating an existing ornamental lake with re-planting of aquatics and marginals and using Coir rolls to re-edge the pool. 

Highfield School

We have recently completed a hard landscaping project in Letchworth. The project involved working closely with Cambridge Style Canopies to create a workable outdoor space. Our work included paving, linear drainage channels, concrete soakaway installation and providing drainage solutions to solve flooding issues.

Sandringham Flower Show

In July last year we designed and built the Showcase Show garden in the Royal Marquee and were awarded a Large Gold Medal. The garden was sponsored by Marshalls Toyota and was in association with the Eastern DAily Press. Read more about it in our Sandringham Diary blog.

Burgh Castle

In May this year, we achieved pratical completion of the access works at Burgh Castle, Great Yarmouth upgrading project for NAG. We were the main contractors for this £300k project.

Peterborough

Highways planting at stanground bypass including a lagoon, wild flower meadows and mature tree planting. First phase completed £200k currently and ongoing.

Cambridge

Cambridge Regional College and the IFM building at the university campus for the same developer. Completed 2010 - £250k project.

Arbury

Local areas for play for South Cambs District Council. soft and hard landscaping including artist designed features in Ibstock glazed bricks - completed June 2010

Private Design & Build

Various projects recently completed plus ongoing design and build projects including currently a design and build project for a UK footballing star.
