In the midst of the annual BBC Springwatch frenzy, we were asked to help out on a Springwatch Action Team project as part of the SWAT team at Catton Park, Norwich.
We have already been working on this park for some time so our lads were delighted to help and be there to give advice for the volunteers. The project included creating hoggin paths similar to the ones we had already put in around the park, and also clearing a Victorian pond making it wildlife friendly again.
All this has been done in the hope of encouraging the local people to use the park for relaxing walks and to discover and enjoy the native wildlife as well as providing a safe natural habitat for biodiversity.

Our lads are the first three on the left Andrzei Franczak, David Stone and Darren Pawszak.
