We are really lucky to have our offices amongst very wildlife rich countryside. We often see deer and squirrels, Green Woodpeckers and Barn Owls and other birds of prey all living quite happily together.

The other day however, one of our operatives found a Bat sunbathing! Knowing this was not normal bat behavour he put it in our barn and called all us office staff out to see what we should do. Luckily for us we know a local man who is known as The Batman so we called him out to see if he could help. He informed us it was a long Eared Brown Bat - he examined it and discovered it was a pregnant female and showed us the outline of the baby. The sad news was that the mum had a broken arm. He said he would do all he could to save her but unfortunately the baby probably wouldn't survive. But at least by calling the Batman we have given the mum a good chance of survival - fingers crossed for her recovery!
