Well we have just come back from Sandringham Flower Show and what a show it was!

Our Courtyard garden entitled 'Fen Ben's Garden' won Gold and also Best in Show and not only that but The People's Choice Award too! We couldn't believe it!

it was such a great day and the build up had been brilliant too meeting so many lovely people and having such beautiful weather made it an absolute pleasure.

The judges were Alan Mason and Chris Beardshaw who were both charming and gave us some really nice comments about our garden - for those of you who couldn't make it to the show - you can find Fen Ben's story below together with some pictures of the garden.

Fen Ben's Garden...

Nestled deep in the heart of the Fens, on the edge of a dyke lives Fen Ben. His garden is a reflection of his eccentric soul and where he lives a solitary life... well known to the locals, Fen Ben used to be an eel catcher and now catches anything anyone wants him to catch from troublesome moles to rabbits and even the odd butterfly (he does let them go again!)

He is a melancholy man who finds solace in his beloved garden making the most of his plants many properties - there amongst his flowers both native and hybrid he feels comfortable. He can dream away his days reminiscing about his Grandma and the biscuit tin whilst eating raw rhubarb (not recommended - but he's used to it!) and spam (which he found under a tarpaulin in an undiscovered World War 2 spam dump).
