Roger was born in London and moved to The Fens in the late 1950's. He obtained a National Certificate in Agriculture (plant based) before starting up as a Landscape Gardener to supplement his earnings as a sheep farmer. That part time job has developed into the Giles Landscapes of today. Roger still goes out to site to check on progress although most of his work is now office based.
In his spare time Roger enjoys playing football with the Giles Landscapes lads and has a keen interest in speed ice skating.
Gary has been working at Giles Landscapes for 15 years starting
as an operator and moving his way up to supervisor until 2006
when he became Maintenance Manager.
In 2009 Gary was made Contracts & Operations Manager and brings to the
role his vast experience in all areas of landscaping. He has had
extensive training in all areas of commercial and private landscaping
gaining many manual qualifications and certification. He has also
achieved an NVQ Level 3 in Amenity Horticulture.
After running his own small landscaping company for several years, Rob joined the Giles Landscapes team in early 2011. Before this he had also been a very successful design/technical consultant working for one of the UK's leading hard landscaping product manufacturers. He brings to the role many years technical experience and full technical training.
Rob's interests include rugby, cricket and socialising and being with his daughter Francesca.
Emma is from an administration background working as an Account
Supervisor before joining Giles Landscapes in 2005. She has gained
her estimating experience by working alongside Giles Landscape's
past Chief Estimator and Contracts Manager and has gained NVQ
Level 3 in Business and Administration.
Emma enjoys socialising and looking after her cat, Twiglet.
Emma has recently returned back to work after Maternity Leave and
Jane trained for three years at Capel Manor College in Enfield gaining a Diploma in Garden and Planting Design and joined Giles landscapes in May 2005. Among designing many private gardens, she has also designed and planted two show stands for Glee and won a certificate of Merit Award for designing and planting a show stand at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2006. In 2008 Jane's co designed courtyard garden at Sandringham Flower Show was awarded Gold, Best in Show and The People's Choice Award. 2009 saw Jane making her Chelsea Flower Show garden debut and was awarded a Gold medal and Best in Courtyard Category for The Giles Landscapes Fenland Alchemist Garden. This summer saw another Gold medal at the Sandringham Flower Show for Giles Landscapes showcase garden 'Industrial Evolution' also co designed by Jane.
Jane is also a regular panelist on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire's gardening programme.
When not designing gardens, Jane enjoys writing poetry and song lyrics and walking.
Michael is the most recent addition to the Giles Team and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from his many years in Senior financial positions. He is responsible for all financial aspects of the business and is a most welcome addition to the Management Team.
Michael also provides a constant supply of fresh oranges from his father's plantation in Cyprus on a regular basis ensuring our Vitamin C levels remain high in the cold winter months. When away from the day-to-day activities of the office he likes to spend quality time with his family and his pet dogs.
Max joined the Team in October 2011 as the new Office Manager.

Peter joined Giles Landscapes in 2011.
With many years experience between them, our operatives are trained to a minimum of NVQ level 2 and are all CSCS card holders. Many are highly trained in specific skills such as tree work and hard landscaping ensuring all work is carried out to an extremely high standard.
Outside of work, their interests range from football to skiing and even DJ-ing!
