Hall School – Catton Park

‘We had a lovely sunny day for the path opening and we are all so pleased with the results. Thank you for making it happen and taking such care to come and be involved with the students. That made it so much more worthwhile, not all just led by the teacher!’

‘I have had an association with Giles Landscapes for many years initially supplying trees and plants for several of their RHS Chelsea Flower Show gardens. It was great to see Ivor Andrew who runs Granta Park for Giles recently helping Nick Knowles and crew build the BBC Children in Need garden for disabled children.
A few years back I met Roger Giles, Ivor Andrew and landscape architect, Jo Morrison on site at Granta Park, Phase 2 and was totally impressed by the quality of planting. I remember my brief was to provide several hundred semi mature trees and they all had to be identical.
I can thoroughly recommend Giles Landscapes and congratulate them on their 10th anniversary of working on the park.’

VOLAC – Volac Head Offices near Cambridge

‘Giles Landscapes Ltd was extremely privileged to be asked to design the landscaping for the refurbished and extended headquarters of Volac. Initially designs were submitted and meetings were held between Giles Landscapes Ltd, Volac, COEL (the main contractor) and Boston Saunders (architects).
After several meetings which finalised all planting elements, Giles Landscapes Ltd also submitted a variety of different paving materials and specialist gravels to Volac which they believed would enhance the whole project. Volac were keen to ensure extremely high quality materials were chosen and used in the project.
Giles Landscapes Ltd provided a final quotation and was awarded the contract to undertake the soft landscaping, the new paving in the entrance courtyard and additional works such as perimeter security fencing and raised planters.
At all times communications were made between Giles Landscapes, Volac and COEL in order that all involved were aware of any developments. This is relatively unusual because most landscaping projects would be dealt with by the landscaping contractor and the main project contractor. The project was completed to an exceptionally high standard with all parties being very satisfied and certainly worthy of this highly prestigous development.
An excellent working relationship between all parties developed during the project with Giles Landscapes being highly proactive as well as being reactive to any issues that ensued.’

‘I was very pleased with the progress and quality of the work. It came to a very satisfactory conclusion for all parties concerned. The project management by Giles Landscapes was excellent’.
